A leader is one who knows the way, goes the way, and shows the way. The same can be aptly said for the director of Datta Irrigation - Jitendra Prakash Pawar. A people’s person, he bore a deep desire to find a way to strengthen the scope of farmers and thus launched the company in 2001. With a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and B.E in Production he worked as a Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering Department where he interacted and dabbled with various practical problems of irrigation faced at grass root level. This prompted him to take up the cause of farmers and be a force to set into motion a progressive path of agricultural development.
He started Mahalasxmi Irrigation Com P Ltd as Founder Director and four years later launched Datta Irrigation in 2001. In a short span Jitendra has built a young generation of highly qualified professionals in sync with the company’s core vision and created an ethos of innovation and benevolence in farming. It is his vision and commitment that makes Datta Irrigation the preferred Drip Irrigation partner for farmers in India, Middle East and the African continent.
